Fronditha Care is seeking passionate Leisure and Lifestyle team members to join their award-winning not-for-profit aged care provider. In this fulfilling job, you will design and deliver engaging recreational and lifestyle programs that promote the health, happiness, and well-being of residents. The team values inclusivity and support, creating a warm environment where everyone feels connected and valued.

You'll be responsible for

🎨

Designing and organising activities

Design and organise a variety of recreational and social activities, including arts and crafts, music, gardening, and outdoor activities.
🌳

Encouraging resident participation

Encourage and support residents to participate in lifestyle and recreational activities, including excursions and special events.
👀

Monitoring resident engagement

Monitor residents during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while observing and reporting on their engagement levels.

Skills you'll need

📜

Cert III or IV in Lifestyle and Leisure

Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a similar job, demonstrating knowledge in lifestyle and leisure activities.
🚑

First Aid certificate

Certification that ensures the ability to respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
🧠

Experience with dementia care

Demonstrated experience providing activities and support for individuals with dementia, ensuring their engagement and well-being.
