About the job

The Operations Superintendent job at Alcoa is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team in delivering mine operations results. You'll be responsible for

⚙️

Maximising equipment utilisation

Coaching on safe and efficient operation, proper daily inspections, and corrective action to prevent incidents while monitoring and coordinating equipment use.
📈

Directing production

Monitoring, controlling, and optimising processes to meet specifications and targets, ensuring continuous equipment availability.
🔄

Managing shift handovers

Thorough reporting and planning to minimise operational impact, developing and reviewing contingency plans to maintain production levels.

Key criteria

⚙️

Heavy mobile equipment experience

Proven experience with heavy mobile equipment in mining operations.

Statutory Supervisor accreditation
