As the Principal Structure Engineer in the Airbus Technical Services Team, you will play a vital role in delivering professional engineering guidance and managing fleet issue resolution. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of the Qantas fleet while collaborating with a diverse team that values creativity and passion. You'll be responsible for

⚙️

Managing mechanical aspects of the Airbus fleet

Overseeing the mechanical operations of the Qantas Airbus fleet to ensure safety and efficiency.

Evaluating and coordinating fleet airworthiness issues

Ensuring compliance with certification and regulatory airworthiness requirements.
🌱

Providing leadership and mentorship

Fostering professional development and technical skills among junior engineers and technical staff.

Key criteria

✈️

Professional Engineering degree

Possession of a degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or equivalent.

10+ years industry experience

Significant experience in commercial aircraft structures, ideally Airbus.

Design signatory experience

Experience as a design signatory is highly advantageous.
