This job is all about supporting small businesses in North Queensland as they recover from recent natural disasters. By collaborating with key stakeholders and delivering tailored resilience initiatives, you will play a vital role in helping these businesses thrive and grow. The team values a customer-focused approach and works together to ensure that small and family businesses receive the support they need to navigate challenges and succeed.

You'll be responsible for

Collaborating with stakeholders

Working alongside key small business stakeholders to influence the development and delivery of tailored resilience initiatives such as workshops, networking events, training, and mentoring.

Building capacity

Supporting local Business Assist officers to enhance the capacity of local business communities to navigate difficult times and recover after disasters.

Managing projects and contracts

Utilizing solid project and contract management experience to ensure the timely and appropriate use of available funding.
