About the job

The RF Practitioner job is all about providing an innovative and intensive wraparound service to families with children aged from unborn to 18 years. This role is crucial in helping families improve their functioning and ensuring the health, safety, and development of children. The team thrives on collaboration and flexibility, working together to meet the unique needs of each family.

You'll be responsible for

Providing intensive wraparound service

Delivering an intensive wraparound service and support to families, engaging with parents/carers to understand and respond to children and young people's needs.
🏠

Supporting family functioning

Building parents/carers' capacity to support improved family functioning and providing access to therapeutic supports, education, vocational training, and employment.
🌍

Engaging with families

Engaging with families in a culturally safe and competent way, including regular consultation with MacKillop’s Nanyubak Unit.

Key criteria

🧠

Experience in assessment and interventions

Demonstrated experience with clinical interventions for vulnerable families.

Sound knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
