This job is about being a Senior Community Mental Health Professional within the Croydon Assertive Outreach team, where you will play a crucial role in providing advanced, evidence-based care to individuals facing mental health challenges. You'll be responsible for

Providing advanced assessment and treatment

Responsible for providing advanced evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team.

Coordinating recovery plans

Coordinating consumers’ recovery plans where there have often been poor treatment outcomes in the past.
⚖️

Making complex clinical decisions

Responsible for complex clinical decision-making and implementing advanced practice skills with complex care consumers.

Key criteria

🧠

Relevant qualifications in therapy or social work

Possession of qualifications recognized by AHPRA or AASW

Current NSW driver's licence

Valid licence (P1 and P2 acceptable) for community transport

Advanced knowledge in recovery-oriented services

Demonstrated expertise in consumer involvement and service evaluation
