The Senior Administrative Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Northern Territory Government's dynamic NT Fisheries team. This job is pivotal in leading the digital transformation of fisheries data management, ensuring a user-centered approach while collaborating with various stakeholders. The team thrives on strong communication and collaboration, working together to shape the future of fisheries in the Territory.

You'll be responsible for

🚀

Providing strategic leadership

Provide strategic leadership and expert business analysis to define, refine and govern Fisheries NT’s digital capability, including complex requirements elicitation, business process reengineering and enterprise level workflow design.
🛠️

Leading project management

Lead and project manage the end to end transition from the legacy Fisheries database to the modernised Fisheries Data Management System (K2), ensuring strong governance, data integrity, user readiness and alignment with program objectives.
🌐

Cultivating relationships

Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating strategic engagement, structured consultation, user acceptance testing, adoption planning and continuous improvement processes to ensure the system meets operational, regulatory and field-based requirements.
