About the job

This job is a core delivery role within the PMO – Projects team at Harmony, the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa. You'll play a vital part in ensuring tailings and civil infrastructure projects are designed and delivered safely, on budget, and on schedule. The team values collaboration and communication, working closely with various stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

You'll be responsible for

Initiating Projects

Formally initiate every project via Project Charter, ensuring a risk-based Forward Work and Execution Plans are in place.
👷‍♂️

Managing Consultants

Oversee engineering and design consultants, ensuring they meet scope, time, and cost requirements while upholding standards.

Reporting Progress

Track and report on project progress, maintaining up-to-date Change, Risk, and Project Action Registers.

Engineering qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Process, or Civil disciplines.

10-15 years' experience in Project Management across Resources or Heavy Industries.
