This job is a core delivery role within the PMO – Projects team at Harmony, a leading gold producer. You'll play a vital part in ensuring that tailings and related infrastructure projects are designed and delivered safely, on budget, and to schedule. The team values collaboration and communication, working closely with various stakeholders to achieve project success.
You'll be responsible for

Initiating projects
Formally initiate every project via Project Charter, ensuring a risk-based Forward Work and Execution Plans are in place.👷♂️
Managing consultants
Oversee engineering and design consultants to ensure project scope, time, and cost are adhered to, escalating issues as necessary.📈
Tracking project progress
Monitor and report on project progress, maintaining up-to-date Change, Risk, and Project Action Registers.Key criteria

Engineering qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.View

Project management experience
10-15 years of hands-on project management experience in heavy industries.View
