About the job

The OpenShift Software Maintenance Engineer position at Red Hat is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in Australia. In this job, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for customers, ensuring they receive top-notch support for their hybrid cloud solutions. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with both the Development team and strategic cloud partners to deliver exceptional service.

You'll be responsible for

Providing technical support

Provide technical support to Red Hat's enterprise customers mainly for Red Hat Enhanced Solution, via web portal and phone.

Diagnosing problems

Diagnose problems, troubleshoot customer issues, and develop solutions to technical issues.

Engaging with developers

Engaging with Developers and Product Management, provide input for product planning and assessments of product GA readiness.

Key criteria

💻

Unix/Linux system administration experience

5+ years of experience managing Unix/Linux systems.

Debugging and troubleshooting skills

Outstanding analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse audiences.
