About the job

As a Program Manager on the Product Development team at Zendesk, you will work closely with passionate Product Management and Engineering teams to execute initiatives that are critical to product roadmaps. This job is all about driving solutions for cross-product challenges while ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. Expect to have a global reach, working with colleagues from EMEA, APAC, and AMER, while enjoying the support of a highly distributed Program Management team.

You'll be responsible for

Collaborating with teams

Working with Product Development teams and collaborating with Marketing, Localization, Alliances, Advocacy, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Sales to drive the delivery of engineering programs on time.

Leading planning processes

Leading teams through planning processes, helping to build out roadmaps, align dependencies, and broker commitments from other teams.

Identifying risks

Identifying, tracking, and mitigating all risks and issues within programs while communicating potential shortfalls to Senior leadership.

Program management

Proven experience managing programs or technical projects, including planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional initiatives with moderate supervision.

Technical Program Management tools

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Kanban, Productboard, and Smartsheet, along with agile methodologies.

Problem-solving

Strong problem-solving skills to break down complex issues, clarify risks and concerns, define clear objectives, and develop realistic, actionable plans.
