This job is about supporting young people as they transition from education into training and employment, helping them to build brighter futures. By working closely with students, staff, and external partners, you will provide guidance and connect learners with meaningful opportunities. The Brisbane Youth Education and Training Centre values collaboration and aims to empower students to make positive choices for their futures.

You'll be responsible for

Supporting transitions

Be accountable for assigned cases to progress transition plans, including undertaking appropriate case management, advocacy and support.

Communicating expectations

Communicate expectations of the transition program with students and stakeholders to develop their understanding of career and learning pathways.

Engaging with students

Engage with students in good faith to identify their interests and recommend the best fit transition plan.
