About the job

This job is all about being the backbone of the Facilitated Advancement of Australia’s Bioactives (FAAB) ARC Training Centre. As an Administration and Outreach Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and fostering connections within the team and with external partners. The FAAB team thrives on collaboration and support, creating an environment where everyone can grow and succeed together.

You'll be responsible for

📋

Providing operational administration

Process reimbursements, purchasing and invoices; assist with travel bookings; manage meeting scheduling; maintain accurate records in SharePoint/OneDrive.
💰

Supporting finance

Track expenditure; assist with annual budgeting, support students in account management and ensure compliance with University processes.
📢

Coordinating communications and outreach

Update the Centre website and social media with agreed content; draft short news items and event posts; support production and distribution of newsletters and other Centre publications.

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with proven ability to manage multiple operational tasks and a high attention to detail.

Communication skills

Good communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence engaging with students, academics, industry and external partners. Experience or interest in marketing/outreach is an advantage.
