The Child and Family Case Manager for the Minds Alive Program is all about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing mental health challenges. This job is crucial in providing both intensive long-term outreach support and short-term assistance, ensuring that every child and young person receives the care they need. At UnitingCare, teamwork is at the heart of everything, fostering a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to grow and thrive.

You'll be responsible for

📝

Conducting eligibility and intake assessments

Assessing the needs of children and families to determine eligibility for support services.
🔍

Undertaking comprehensive assessments of risk and protective factors

Evaluating the strengths and support required by children and their families to ensure their well-being.
📚

Facilitating educational workshops and community-based seminars

Developing materials and resources to promote better outcomes for children and families affected by mental illness.

Key criteria

🎓

Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Possession of a degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related area.
