About the job

This role sits at the intersection of HR and people development - but it's not traditional HR and it's not purely operational. It's both. You'll own the people side of ASE end-to-end: hiring, onboarding, performance, culture and the day-to-day experience of being part of this team. Think of yourself as the connective tissue of the organisation - the person who makes sure our people are looked after, communication is clear and we scale without losing what makes ASE special. You'll work directly alongside the CEO, Co-Founder and Director of Programs across all three divisions. You're not here to manage the programs. You're here to support the people who deliver them. You hold the standard, spot the gaps and make things better simply by being in the room. Things move fast here. Decisions get made quickly and the strategy might look different on Friday than it did on Monday. If you thrive when you're trusted to figure it out, you'll love it here.

You'll be responsible for

🐣

People & Recruitment

You'll own hiring end-to-end - writing JDs, screening candidates and making recommendations across QLD and NSW. Once they're in, you'll make sure new starters feel genuinely set up through a structured onboarding experience.
πŸ“ˆ

Performance & Development

You'll run check-ins, performance reviews and build personalised development plans that give staff a real pathway to grow. Hard conversations don't scare you β€” you address issues early and coach managers to do the same.
πŸŽ‰

Culture & Team Experience

You're the person who remembers the birthdays, plans the team days and makes sure the culture doesn't slip as we scale. The small stuff matters here and you'll be the one making sure it doesn't get lost.
