The Community Engagement Specialist position is a full-time, 12-month contract based in Hurstville, focusing on increasing awareness and referrals to the Carer Gateway Program. This role is vital in connecting carers with essential support services, fostering community relationships, and ensuring that those in need are informed and engaged. You'll be responsible for

Growing referrals

Grow referrals to Carer Gateway through proactive outreach in locations such as hospitals, community centres, organisations, expos, and local events.

Building stakeholder relationships

Build strong stakeholder relationships across referral networks, panels, and service providers, acting as a visible and trusted program ambassador.

Delivering presentations

Deliver presentations and information sessions to hospitals, aged care, disability organisations, and community groups.
