You'll be responsible for

Supporting community safety responses
Support the delivery of practical, prevention-focused community safety responses and improve perceptions of safety and community confidence in public spaces, including place-based activation, graffiti responses, CPTED-informed approaches and community-centred governance of surveillance.🤝
Collaborating with stakeholders
Work collaboratively with residents, young people, traders, community groups, Victoria Police and Council teams to support local problem-solving, building trust and ensure community safety activity reflects local context, lived experience and community strengths.📅
Coordinating community engagement
Support effective coordination across services and place-based responses by sharing insights, contributing to reporting, and helping ensure community safety activity is timely, visible, well-communicated and aligned across teams.Key criteria

Tertiary qualification in relevant field
Possession of a degree in Community Development or related area.View

Demonstrated experience engaging diverse communities and building trust.View
