As a Control System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of control systems and electrical assets at Dampier Port. You'll be responsible for

🦺

Adhering to health and safety policies

Following all Rio Tinto health and safety policies and promptly reporting hazards and risks to ensure a safe working environment.
⚙️

Providing engineering support

Offering engineering support for complex control systems, network, instrumentation, and electrical faults to minimize operational disruption.
🔧

Leading continuous improvement initiatives

Acting as a custodian of control systems and leading defect elimination and continuous improvement initiatives to address recurring issues.

Key criteria

⚙️

Control system engineering experience

5+ years of experience in control systems engineering, ideally in port operations.

Electrical engineering qualification

Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Control, or Mechatronics Engineering.

PLC and HMI knowledge

Proven knowledge of Schneider PLCs and Wonderware HMI systems.
