About the job

As a Direct Services Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supervising the daily practices of direct support staff, ensuring they provide exceptional accommodation support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. Your leadership will help maintain compliance with legislative requirements and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Collaboration and mentorship are key aspects of how the team operates, creating a supportive environment for both staff and service users.

You'll be responsible for

Encouraging continuous improvement

Encouraging teams to identify and implement strategies for enhancing service delivery for individuals with an intellectual disability.

Monitoring and reviewing systems

Planning and implementing regular monitoring and review of systems and processes used by support staff.

Participating in support planning

Actively contributing and encouraging participation in support planning for individuals receiving services.
