An exciting opportunity is available for a Family Support Coordinator to work across Richmond Hill State School and Charters Towers Central State School. This position is all about leading family support and engagement from Pre-Prep to Prep and ongoing support from Prep to Year 2 in diverse and complex communities. The team is dedicated to building strong connections with external stakeholders and ensuring families have access to vital engagement programs and support services.

Implementing collaboration with external partners
Implement structured and long-term collaboration with a diverse range of external partners to drive positive outcomes for families and children, and to facilitate improvement in student attendance, behaviour and engagement in learning.🔗
Connecting families with services
Work with classroom teachers, teacher aides and specialist support staff to understand the child's needs and connect families with services, such as health, therapeutic and developmental interventions to support engagement with learning.🌟
Building relationships and partnerships
Build and sustain positive relationships and effective partnerships with students, parents, school staff, government agencies and community services to ensure optimum outcomes for children and their families.Key criteria
