About the job

The job is about shaping strategic governance and delivering exceptional Board support for the protection of the Great Barrier Reef. This position plays a key role in supporting the governance of the Reef Authority, working closely with senior leaders and Board members to contribute to meaningful outcomes. The team values professionalism, collaboration, and growth, creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

You'll be responsible for

🏛️

Delivering secretariat and governance activities

Deliver high-quality, end-to-end secretariat and governance activities to enable the effective operations of the Reef Authority Board and two Board advisory committees.
📄

Reviewing and advising on materials

Review, quality-assure, and provide advice on materials to support informed Board decision-making and ensure compliance with legislation, policy, and delegations.
🤝

Providing executive support

Provide high-level executive assistant support to the Board Chairperson and Board members and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally.
