The Senior Aboriginal Child Specialist Advice and Support Service Case Worker (ACSASS) is a vital job focused on empowering Aboriginal families in the Mallee region. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the best interests of Aboriginal children and young people are upheld while fostering strong relationships with Child Protection and other agencies. The team thrives on collaboration, community engagement, and a commitment to cultural safety.

You'll be responsible for

👥

Supervising case workers

Supervising two ACSASS Case Workers and scheduling the after-hours rotating roster to ensure effective service delivery.

Supporting families

Assisting, supporting, and strengthening Aboriginal families who are in contact with Child Protection to ensure their best interests are upheld.

Meeting program requirements

Supporting the team to meet program funding requirements and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
