The Senior Legal Counsel job is an exciting opportunity to join Maurice Blackburn, a respected law firm, on an 18-month fixed term contract. This position plays a crucial role in providing legal support to the Senior Executive team and influencing commercial decision-making daily. You'll be responsible for

⚖️

Providing legal support

Providing legal support to the Senior Executive team and the wider firm on a range of legal and regulatory issues.
📄

Drafting and reviewing contracts

Drafting and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts across the business, as well as acquisitions and litigation support.
🔍

Delivering accurate legal advice

Delivering accurate and commercially focused legal advice across various areas of law, including innovation projects, privacy, and data protection.

Key criteria

⚖️

8+ years post admission experience

Demonstrated experience in general commercial and contracts practice.

Proven skills in drafting and negotiating agreements.
