This job is about leading a nationally dispersed team to enhance CSIRO’s physical and psychological wellbeing initiatives. The Health & Wellbeing Manager will drive strategic programs that elevate health, safety, and wellbeing culture across the organisation. You'll be responsible for

🏥

Implementing health initiatives

Implement high-impact health and wellbeing initiatives, including injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs that improve physical and psychosocial outcomes.
🤝

Influencing leadership

Influence and partner with senior leadership to shape strategic health and safety direction and embed a proactive health and safety culture.
👩‍🏫

Leading a team

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Injury Management Advisors and specialist health professionals, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Skills you'll need

👥

Leadership experience

At least five years of leadership experience in injury management, case management, and return-to-work functions within a large or complex organisation.
🛡️

Health and safety knowledge

In-depth knowledge of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act (1988) and related legislation, ensuring regulatory compliance and identifying organisational risks.

Communication skills

Exceptional communication skills to translate complex health and safety concepts for diverse audiences and build strong stakeholder relationships.
