You'll be responsible for

Conducting inspections
Ensuring compliance with the Building Act 1993 and Building Regulations 2018.⚖️
Investigating complaints
Addressing unsafe building works and taking appropriate enforcement action.📑
Supporting the Municipal Building Surveyor
Assisting with report and consent applications and writing legal briefs for court matters.Key criteria

Registered Building Practitioner
Valid registration as a Building Inspector is essential.View

Building Act and Regulations knowledge
Strong understanding of the Building Act 1993 and related regulations.View

Experience in building inspections
