About the job

This job is about joining Tesla’s Business Development team for utility-scale battery storage, where you will play a vital role in commercialising new technology and shaping emerging business models. Your work will significantly impact the rapidly growing energy storage market, helping to stabilise the grid and support the transition to renewable energy. You'll be responsible for

Identifying critical needs

Working closely with sales and building relationships with developers, utilities, investors, NSPs, and regulators to understand their biggest critical needs and pain points on the road to 100% renewable energy.
🛠️

Designing solutions

Collaborating with product, engineering, and policy teams to translate new technologies and designs into clear narratives, smart commercial models, and new tools and resources.
📈

Project development

Helping owners formulate use cases, costs, revenue strategies, commercial terms, and best-practice approaches to developing their storage projects.

Key criteria

🎓

Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Possession of a degree in Business, Engineering, or related area.
